Baked Artichoke Hearts

Yields: 14-16 Servings 

Prep time: 15 minutes 

Cook time: 35-40 minutes 


Ingredients: 

• 50-54 large artichoke hearts (canned or frozen) 

• 5-6 cloves of garlic (minced) 

• 1 cup or extra virgin olive oil 

• Cup of Italian breadcrumb 

• ½ cup of Romano grated cheese 

• ½ cup of Italian chopped parsley 

• Salt and Pepper to taste 


Instructions: 

  1. Prepare Artichokes: Drain canned artichokes or thaw frozen artichokes according to package directions. 
  2. Add Olive Oil: Drizzle 1/2 cup of olive oil on the bottom of a baking tray. 
  3. Layer Artichokes: Arrange the prepared artichokes in a single layer on the oiled tray. 
  4. Season: Sprinkle the artichokes evenly with minced garlic, breadcrumbs, grated Romano cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Drizzle the remaining 1/2 cup of olive oil over the top. 
  5. Bake: Place the tray in a preheated 425°F oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the artichokes are tender.
