Italian Sautéed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

* 32 ounces of white mushrooms

* 1/2 cup of diced yellow onion

* 3 cloves of garlic (minced)

* 2 & 1/2 cups of tomato sauce

* 9 TBSP of olive oil

* 4 tsp. of Parmesan cheese

* 1 basil leaf (torn)

* salt & pepper to taste


Instructions:

1. slice mushrooms 

2. place into boiling water of 30 seconds & strain

3. place 6 TBSP of olive oil and mushrooms in a large skillet and cook until water is evaporated.

4. place 3 TBSP of olive oil and onion in separate skillet and cook for 3 minutes and then add garlic.

5. once onion and garlic is a light golden brown, pour it into the pan of mushrooms and then salt and pepper to taste.

6. Cook for 5 minutes and then ass the tomato sauce, parmesan cheese and basil leave.  

7. Let cook for an additional 10 minutes and Enjoy!
