Ingredients:
- 1 Cup of Water lukewarm
- 2 Cups of Flour (All-purpose)
- 1 tsp. of Yeast
- 1 TBSP of Sugar
- 1 tsp. of Salt
- 1 TBSP of Olive Oil
- 32 ounces of Vegetable Oil
- ½ Cup of Powdered Sugar
Directions:
- Add yeast to water and let set for about 5 minutes.
- Add sugar and olive oil to the cup of water and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, add flour and salt and mix well.
- Add the water with yeast and sugar to bowl of flour.
- Mix well using a rubber spatula.
- Cover and let rise for 90 minutes.
- Heat Vegetable oil to 300-325 degrees F.
- Once oil is hot, add golf ball size portions of the dough into the oil and fry until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and Enjoy!
